well I bought this boat 4 months ago sight unseen. Seller was very easy going, boat ran fine. Made countless trips to the Great Lakes with it and yesterday she decided not to start. Tried either and not even a little pop. Come to find out, Motor was repowered back in 2014 with a marine power 5.7v-vr2 and when that was done they converted it to carb. Now I do not believe they deleted the ecu because I cannot get the fuel pump to kick on and when I do it’s only for a couple seconds. Since it’s carb now shouldn’t the little low pressure pump on the motor just run constantly and the floats in the carb control fuel flow?
