Hey Everyone!
1st-time boat owner, new to my own boat but not to boating. I'll also open by saying, I'm very mechanically inclined, and also use to work on jets in the Air Force.. But boats are new to me.
Just took the boat out for the first time, runs great. But there is an issue.
The previous owner put a new ignition switch on. It's a 3 prong. On-Off-Start I believe.
The boat ran for a good while, would cut off time to time had to hit the reset switch, it kept popping.
Now it does not turn on at all, as soon as turn the key, it makes the audible noise then the breaker pops. Anyone know what may be causing this? Is it the wrong ignition switch? The breaker cant be bad, i swapped it with another one and it still popped. 20 amp breaker.
Ill try to add pics. Any help would be appreciated!
