Is there any air bleeding procedure for raw water cooled systems?

I have my system open to do some work and saw a bleed plug on the t-stat housing and wanted to be sure I didn't need to do anything special to get air out of the system when or before I fire it back up?

thats a drain plug on the T-stat housing

just hook up the muffs, system is self bleeding, just not self draining

Okay thanks again for all your help across my multiple threads...being anew boat owner of a boat that needs work is not for everyone LOL...at least I can turn a wrench; just need the specific data to what I'm working on and I can do a lot myself.
