Hi All,
I have a 2015 Regal 2300, with a Volvo Penta 270. It has 100 hours on it.

This past weekend, the engine shutoff a couple of times, and displayed a couple of DTC Codes on the dash. The first one was:
"DTC 1423: ERWT1 higher than expected stage 1"

The second was:
"DTC 1425: ERWT2 higher than expected stage 2"

Each time, if I just opened the Engine Compartment for a few minutes, then it would start right up.

I haven't really checked anything yet, as I'm not sure what to check for. Is it an overheating thing? Faulty temp sensor? I don't know.

Any help is appreciated!

what is your temp?

when was the impeller changed? being a 2015, it should have been changed at the end of last season.

At the end of last season, the boat only had 15 hours on it, so I didn't change the impeller. This summer the boat has gotten a lot more use...this summer, it's had about 85 hours put on it. I was thinking maybe that might be the culprit, but wasn't too confident yet. I'll look at the impeller this evening...Never changed one out personally, but surely it can't be too difficult. That's what YouTube is for, right? :)

It would be nice to know exactly what those DTC Codes mean. Any ideas?
