Speed sensor on DPH drive

Hi All

I have had my new Monterey for a week now and am finding the teething issues! Like the speedo showing 60+knots at three quarter throttle! Would anyone have any ideas on there to start trouble shooting this?
its on a Volvo DPH leg.

The speed-o is controlled by air pressure. Water is forced into the drive hole and pushes air up to the gauge. With it showing more then your going something broke loose inside would be my guess and needs replaced. Don't know of any repairable parts. Could contact the manufacture and see if they have a repair option

Turns out the speed is measured by a paddle wheel on the triducer and you can adjust the speed via the evc system you just need a GPS to get your exact speed to set it.
