dock neighbor lost his impeller and melted all the exhaust hoses and plug wires in his 2008 houseboat, bad part is he also melted the 2 rubber trim lines going from the pump to the tansom assy, any one got an idea of how to replace these, I cant get down there to see where they attach to the transom assy, will the motor have to come out?

Wall that melted I would think the motor needs a lot of work, but back to your question.

The boat needs to come out so the lines and manifold can be removed and new lines installed.

the surprising part is that volvo puts the impeller on the front of the motor for easy changing every 2-3 years to prevent issues like this.

if those hydraulic lines melted, then he really really got the motor hot....really really hot. the motor will need to come out and be gone thru
