Going to pull the outdrive (eventually...) and know I need to lube the gimbal bearing and u-joints. Manual calls for "wheel bearing grease" but I wanted recommendations on which product to use. I figure if I'm going to do the job, I'm going to do it right. I have a grease gun with zerk fitting adapter.

Use the same marine rated wheel bearing grease that you pump into your trailer......Per your Volvo Penta Manual.

What if you don't have a trailer? Just kidding. I use Lucas Red and Tacky on my trailer bearings, will just use that on the drive.

To quote a great source of knowledge and info...."Any grease is better than no grease at all"
