Need solex PA2 44 carb will PA1 work instead?

Hi there, I have a 1977 Bayliner quartermaster with a Volvo penta AQ130D b20. I've gone ahead and ordered rebuilt carbs for this, but I've ordered the solex PA1 44 B20 instead of the PA 2 which I believe is the correct model for the AQ130D. Will these still work? What is the difference? Thanks

I think the only difference in the PA1 and PA2 is a boss on the top cap casting that requires a different gasket , which they include both style gaskets in the rebuild kits , Jetting ,Venturi , Mounting , appearance is identical. Anybody know if this is true?? I haven't got any replies

No replies is most likely due to rare nature of your machine. I never heard of a PA2 until I saw your post.
