Has anybody else had problems with the aluminum fittings on the remote oil filter lines breaking? I had one break last weekend, and I'm trying to find out if this is a common problem. I am currently waiting to hear back from the dealer as to wether this will be covered under a warranty claim. Thanks for any response.

Ok, Thanks. Anybody had any luck getting Volvo Warranty to cover the engine from this?

Well it's been a while, but I thought I would stop by and give an update. Now it took a lot of phone calls, and e-mails to Volvo, but the end result is Volvo installed a new reman long block under warranty, and they coordinated with a local dealer, so I would not have to tow the boat from South Carolina to Virginia (where the oil lines were originally installed) to have the work done. I have to say over all I am impressed with Volvo's warranty dept.
