Completed my first winterizing & like many of my projects, over several days as time allows. Just getting the right kit has been a bit of a pain in the a $$. Thanks to bondo & Bruce 58 for ur input on that quandary. I now realize when i replaced my impeller I did not check to see if my impeller blades were in the same or correct direction. Does that matter? I can pull the water pump off again easy enuf when I prep for summer but thought the blades might self correct when the pump starts cranking. Thx in advance!

your blades will straighten themselves out. however I always pulled the impeller for winter, put it in a bag as a spare, and thru a new impeller in the pump in spring on my VP. it keeps the blades from taking a set
