Engine Id 432acpmda 4.3 v-p

Need help identifying my engine. Went to the sticky link.....charcoal engine; 43-displacement but then my mod # has another #- not the letter indicating gmc or ford. Think I have it down to md=93-94 & have been ordering parts as so. Ordered a impeller kit that looks to match up except for the gasket?? In an attempt in ordering the top therm to manifold hose the sales dude said he could not look up the part off my mod # cuz it was w/i the years of the omc partnership. Said he needed a spec# which I can't find.

I can't pull the # off the drive either. Sx? (Pics if that helps)

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,.... The 4.3l is a GM motor,.....

Ford never built anything even close,....

Try yer numbers in an OMC parts look-up,......

Your engine id of 432ACPMDA is a correct one. It is for a model year 94. It is also equivalent to a Volvo "MD" model so you can go on parts catalogs for that as well. You have an SX drive.

I am afraid 94 was a weird year for that water pump as it looks like they may of changed things in the model run. I see a couple different impeller kit numbers. Can you take a picture of your pump especially the back of it? I know its a tight squeeze.

When I buy parts like these, I put them in a file I store on dropbox for every part number I change and when I changed it.

That does indeed look like it. Impeller looks the same but that gasket looks like a perfect fit. I can get a better picture of the back but had these on my phone. Even has the ID tag on it but I can't make out the #. Btw...thx for confirming the engine!

Looks like that is the correct pump kit!
