I have a 2000 four winns with a 5.7 volvo GSI Pefs, it starts fine, BUT after 5-10 minutes it is like someone is reaching over my shoulder & turning off the ignition switch, boat is running fine & then just turns off.Sometimes I can ride for hours, no problem.Sometimes it happens several times in a boating session. Does not seem to have a rhyme or reason.
50% of the time it will allow start up & 50% very difficult to restart.
I have replaced fuel pump
ignition coil
dist. cap
rotor
ignition module
ignition switch
coil
Love my boat, but very frustrated, afraid I will get stranded.
This is a fresh water boat.
HELP PLEASE< ANY SUGGESTIONS or testing ideas?
