Eska 7.5 timing

Set timing on eska 7.5 to .115 and followed steps in Tecumseh manual with timing tool. When I hook throttle linkage back up things just seem to go back to the exact way they were..engine will not fire at all. It is definitely getting fuel.tried shooting fuel into carb and plug hole. Seals and gaskets are all new .carb butterfly opening up soon as you give it throttle. Has nice strong spark.

The easiest motor to work on and very rarely you have to readjust the timing. Check your reed valves. And what is your compression?

Compression was 102. The laminate was off of the motor. Thanks did not look at reeds.
