I'm replacing the water pump...easy...but I can't get the copper water tube to align with the hole in the upper part of the unit (I cant see it and it seems that I have to move it what I can till it slips in?) Does anyone know of any 'tricks' to get this tube to seat into the hole correctly? BTW....I have a hard to fin manual for these motors that I'd be happy to share. Thanks in advance for any insight.

Just so others will know, it was not necessary to remove the lower unit "foot" to replace the water pump. I don't know if I ever took one apart there or not. But if I did, I don't remember any "trick".

EDIT: Perhaps the trick is to put the tube in the upper hole first, then the lower hole as you install the foot?
