I have the same motor but only have like 30 lbs of compression, very little spark I mean tiny blue spark, after you spin the motor over a few times the compression goes up to 60lbs, but I don't have enough spark I dont think, the spark is only maybe jumps a 16th of a inch to were I wonder should it be like my weed eater jump a 1/8 inch to half inch.i have the Eisemann or Elsemann magneto model 71L 2053, can not get it to start. Anyone know were to find parts for this motor and who made it. It says Champion Motors Company but I've had no luck finding anything on it except here. Pretty much I have the same exact motor as you do., thanks ahead of time for the help

With weak spark like that the plug will not fire when installed.------Clean points.-----Find a shop with a MERC-O-TRONIC magneto analyzer to test coils and condensers.

That Eisemann magneto dates it back in the early 1940's. It was made by Champion Motors Co (no, not Champion Spark Plug Co)
