Hi. This is the first motor I’ve ever worked on. I got it running, but it won’t shift into neutral. Any idea what might be going on? I’m not sure what the shifting mechanism is even suppose to look like.
Also, when it’s cold I can only start it with starting fluid with the throttle set to high rpms. Any suggestion there would be great too!
When I got the engine, it was completely seized, so I’m happy I was able to get it running at all. But, it would be nice if it ran well and reliably
