1989 150 DT Sukuzi Outboard

My boat motor seems to have a shallow water warning alarm which triggers a rev limiter not allowing the motor to rev more than 3000 rpm even in deep water. The shallow water alarm does not go off even if in very deep water. Anyone have any experience with this rev limiter and how do I resolve this issue?

I dont believe your motor had a shallowater alarm. Look to overheating or the oil system causing your alarms. A sk the mod to move this to the suzuki forum.
