  • 1976 Eska 7.5 hp No Fuel to Spark

Hi everyone, I bought this Eska locally for cheap ($40) and was told it didn't have spark, which was true. I did the Sierra coil fix described on this site and now I do have spark! I fueled her up and pulled and pulled--nothing! Pulled the spark plug--no gas smell, not wet. So obviously no fuel to cylinder. There is however fuel in the bowl, but I have not pulled the carb yet for inspection. Any thoughts/suggestions? Bad/sticky pump? Also is there no high speed needle on this thing? It only has the bolt at the bottom of the bowl. Tecumseh model no. 640-07B. Eska 1976B. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Doug

Of no high speed needle, it obviously has a fixed high speed jet. Likely plugged up.

Thanks F_R! I'll definitely check it out when I remove the carb.
