Picked up a 5hp 4stroke briggs & Stratton outboard great shape has not been started in maybe 5yrs. Should I put a couple drops of oil in the spark plug hole before I try to start or just pull a couple times easy then go for it? Thanks for any help on this.

It can't hurt anything to oil the cylinder and pull it a few times.
