And if anyone can help its a yamaha outdrive but on the outdrive it says yahama but could the motor be a mercruiser? it is a 4.3 V6 and i also need to know where i can find a four barrel carb for it mine is old and pitted on the inside and its flooding on the four barrel side and i just want to replace it? Where can i find a good one at priced decently? thanks
First, do you have a jumper to connect to the distributor to lock the timing down? If you do, use the jumper and set the timing at 8BTDC. If you do not have a jumper, then you cannot set the timing.
