Hey everyone had this boat for 5 years now trying on and off to get it to dire up just replaced starter distributed cap drained all the fuel filtered it for water added octane, motor cranks but won’t catch. I did just notice the small paper fuel filter at the end of the fuel line before going to the carb was blocked and ordered one to replace it. Hear is the thing that is bothering me I filled the main fuel filter with gas and have gas shooting to the carb but seams like the pump is only shooting fuel from the filter not picking up fuel from the tank. Pump is a mechanical pump.

if it has points, you need to service them

since this has been sitting for 5 years, you need to clean the tank, the anti-siphon valve, and pull the carb apart

Changed point in the cap last year drained the tank and cleaned carb can’t get at the pickup line in the tank can’t find the Accra whole on the tank
