I have a 1989 omc cobra with a 2.3 she starts a little rough and have problems with it idling after I run it wide open for a while it just does on me and it’s hard starting after that any ideas ?
I have not rebuilt the carb I was thinking about doing it myself or having a shop do it depending on the price it looks pretty dirty and wet around my carb and yes full tune up

If it's wet around the carb it's leaking fuel which can make you & your boat go boom. If it's leaking around the base it can be just a matter of tightening down the 4 nuts. I thing they are 1/2" . Either way take care of it before your boat burns down to the water line.
