Omc year help please

I have an engine. I would like to know the year to try and find the wiring diagram for it. It's a 4.3 LG
here are some of the markings on the block

14088553

The serial number is T0955714
And help would be appreciated

Later 80's at least. It's a Cobra, right? Do a little lookin' HERE. I'm not sure what model number you'd have, but none of those look right (I'm no expert with the Cobra by a long shot). If you look through a few years, that'll give you an idea of what model number you're looking for.

I'm not sure on the Cobras, but typically the model number is on a plate along with the serial number.

so on the tag i have i only have the last two letters, its almost definitely a TC so going through the list provided above. I only see 4 numbers that end in TC that are also 4.3L
432 AMFTC
432 APFTC
434 AMFTC
434 APFTC

so my question now is whats the difference between 434 and 432 and the second letter of M or P
anyone know off hand?

432= 4.3 liter engine and 2bbl carb
434= 4.3 liter engine and 4bbl carb
P= power steering M= manual steering

So i have a 4 bbl and power steering so that makes my model number a
434-APFTC

I think that's model year 1987...Look here: http://www.sterndrive.info/model_numbers.html

I always order parts for mine using the model number, so the year doesn't matter.
