I am going over my drive and need these seals but OMC's part number 0911788 and glm 86550 appear to be NLA.

Did anyone find a different seal that would work?
Thank you

Just a note , when those seals start going bad they will allow exhaust gasses get sucked up in the water pump causing a overheating problem.

The swivel bearing would have to be so worn that the water pump shaft splines would strip out really quick. The main thing is to be sure that the water pump plate is sealed and the supply tube to the swivel bearing grommet is seated.

all I said was that worn SEALS can cause overheating.
If all of a sudden you have a temp problem give the swivel bearing a doz. shots of greade and see if it helps.
this happened to me and a OMC mechanic told me to try it. It worked!
Changed the seals ,steady 160 temp on a OMC 200.
Its easier to suck gasses then water. Any pump will always suck air over liquid on the suction side.

This seal is for the steering and is on the gimbal housing whiwh has no direct connection to the water pump.
