1988 Crestliner OMC 3.0 fuel pump

Can anyone tell me where i can find a fuel pump for this? It is a Carter 60573. Every place Ive tried can look it up but nobody has one.

I think your local NAPA shop can probably cross reference it for ya'.

Yes Ive tried that but the one that comes up has the fuel lines in the wrong spots. They can pull up that part number but nobody has any in inventory.

You might be able to have yours rebuilt.

Other than that, your only choice might be a similar pump that you can disassemble and reassemble with the ports where you need them.

Just make sure you're using a marine pump with a connection for the clear tubing from the pump to the carburetor intake.

Otherwise your other choice would be an electric. If you do that, ensure you use an oil pressure switch that allows the pump to only be powered when the engine cranking or actually running.

Have you checked Sierra Marine? They make a lot of replacement mechanical pumps, I have one on my 4.3.

check and see if this one will work, its listed as crossing over to a Mercruiser 3.0 4 cyl but may work on the OMC as the engines were the same GM 4 cyl.
