OMC water pump help

Hi, I am new to the boat world and I have a lot to learn. I have a 4.3 inboard OMC and an Alpha drive. I am trying to replace the impeller. I can not remove the impeller housing. It is stuck and won't budge. I m sure that I am doing something wrong. I hope someone can help me. Thank you for any help.

Disregard I guess, I found a video and the impeller isn't under there.

That ain't an Alpha, it's a Cobra, the impeller is in the upper gear housing!

Enjoy one of the big advantages of the OMC Cobra, the easy access water pump, that you can change in 15 min.
Then there's the easier to change driveshaft bellows and the transom assembly that is not prone to leaks and worn bushings/steering play like the Merc Alpha.
