need help finding the location of 1986 stringer omc Trim Indicator Sending Unit

Hello, I'm the newbe here.
I just bought a 1986 Beachcraft, And found the Trim Indicator Sending Unit laying in the starboard side bilge area hot wire connected and ground disconnected. My manual does not show where it was mounted, it just shows a schematic diagram.
I have looked every where for the bolt holes to connect the Sending unit, but no luck.

I've never had the hydraulic trim set, so I'm speaking a little out of turn here. But I think you can see the sender in this image:

Connected to the bottom of the trim cylinder if I'm reading things right.

Thank you, now wonder I can find where it mounts.
The mount bracket at the bottom of the trim cylinder is missing on mine.

Some of the Stringers got pretty "Frankenstien-ed" together as the systems got older. They can be a real puzzle if you didn't get hold of 'em in working order.
