Hello,
Is it possible to connect a light to the temp warning system. I have a 1989 mercruiser 4.7. It has an audible warning buzzer but some times, while running, the engine noise is too loud to hear the buzzer.

Thanks

Yes you should be able to pickup a 12v LED indicator light, or 12v any type of light and wire it in parallel with the buzzer under your dash.

For some more industrial style...

otherwise iboats has lots of different 12v light options! Great selection!

If you are curious, the OT sensor grounds the cold side of the horn so hooking your bulb as mentioned will put 12v on one side as is on your horn, and when the sensor closes during an OT condition, ground on the other. Son had a boat with a dash light in addition to the horn.
