Who sells the most "what brand"outboard engines...?

I was wondering who sells the most"what brand" outboard engines.<br />I would imagine Merc sells the most 115 and up outboards.<br />How about smaller motors or who sold the most in the 70's,80's,90's,00's.<br /><br />Thanks in advance....

iboats sells the most outboard engines, GG.<br /><br />Oh, you mean brands of outboards. <br /><br />Got no numbers or proof, by my instinct says that OMC and its predecessors sold the most outboard engines from the beginning of time until sometime in the 80s, at least. In the 50s they may have outsold all competition combined.
