Does anyone use the Moeller Flexible Fuel Pick up, does it lay on the bottom of the tank and slosh around with the slosh of the gas , simiular to a weed eater gas pickup ? Any information , thoughts or opinions are welcome

No, the tube has a spring inside to keep it from kinking, and to hold the bottom end against the bottom of the tank.
Also has a nice screen sock on the end.

Thanks , I Think I will give it a try , with a just 21 gallon tank I want that extra reserve (my old pickup tube ends 3 inches from the bottom) I have 2 filters, a spin-on and the small one on the engine - hopefully they will catch any water that might accumulate on the bottom

Are either of the two filters a water separator/fuel filter?

My original looks like 1/2" NPT with a Bluskies anti-siphon valve & barbed fitting going to a 3/8 fuel supply hose , If I switch to the Moeller flexible fuel withdrawal , Its a 1/4 NPT , I would also have to switch to a 1/4" NPT anti-siphon valve with a 3/8 barbed ,this would be reducing the NPT size at the tank, I checked the owners manual of the engine and all it says about gas connection is the code section of US marine laws , the part where everything used has to be NMMA or ABYC certified for marine use, it does not say what size NPT fitiings are to be used for the application, so thats why I asked is 1/4" NPT ok for use on a 70HP Fourstroke? Thanks
