I have a 1989 Yamaha Pro 50 tiller and an 1985 Evinrude 9.9. I don't have both motors on my 16 ft boat as it would be too much weight but I swap them out for lakes with a 10hsp restriction.

I share the same tank as I mix 50 to 1. Problem is I have to change the fitting each time on the gas tank. Can I run a female yamaha connector on the end of my evinrude hose at the gas thank(obviously keeping the connector to the evinrude 9.9 omc)?

Very common solution ,perfectly a ok.Just to add another way I changed the fittings at the motors to all omc.So my merc ,Chrysler, and omc were all the same.
