In the adventure that I've taken to learn all the parts of the engine area, I was looking at the back of the engine near the drive shaft area and saw a grease nipple. I looked back there before and never saw one. In one of my other posts where I suspected I had some type of water leak, I ran the engine to see if there was a coolant leak.
In the end, took another look at the back of the engine and did not see the grease nipple, unless I'm blind.

What is this grease nipple for?

It's for greasing the splines on the driveshaft in the coupler. When you service the drive every fall, you grease the splines before you install the drive anyway. You can't see it now as it spins with the shaft
It stopped in a different spot.

That's what I thought. Is the nipple on the coupler then?
