I was wondering if someone could give me a hand with the wiring diagram for a 1988 Mercury 150hp outboard. After leading in a 2 day local bass tournament in Norfork, VA I went back to my hotel with the boat and my boat motor was vandalized. Nothing stolen, but a few wires cut or pulled from where they belong. I'm going to upload some pictures. I tried to find the repair manual, but they are hard to find for this year and the one's I did fine they wanted 100 to 120.00 for the manual. (that's crazy to me) I don't want to guess as to where the wires go, so if someone could help me I would really appreciated.

Thanks Mav

Thats pretty rotten. The box on the top of the motor is your voltage regulator. Its aftermarket and it looks like some splices have been made here snd there changing some of the colors. In the pics it looks like the batt charge wire and the tachometer lead were disconnected. The batt charge is the bigger wire. It looks red or possibly white. The grey wire on the voltage regulator it the tach lead. It looks like the yellow wire with the male bullet connector has been spliced into the grey wire in the engine harness. Just plugg that one back in. Some others...
Blue white trim up
Green white trim down
Big green trim motor down
Big blue trim motor up
Purple key on power
Light brown warning module
Light brown w blue warning horn.
If yhis doesnt help, I can post a pic of the diagram.

How long as this motor been setting without cowling as all the wires/connectors are UV damaged??? Even the fuel lines look old and dry and wire are disconnected ??? Heres a diagram.
