Hi I repowered and the dealer used the existing , 1996 Merc controls, I have a chance to pickup gen11 4500 controls, will they be compatible? what else will I need? is the ignition built in to these or do I need to install a dash ignition??
here is the listing, it shows the required wiring to install, do i already have it in the existing install or do I need those parts too?
he also lists Mercury / Quicksilver Harness Assembly &Key Switch-20'.(pn#84896537k20) would that replace the existing harness?
