  • How much is my outboard worth?

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but here goes.
I have a 1975 Mercury 500 50HP. Low compression on cylinder 4. I'm not a good enough mechanic to fix it. So, I want to sell it for parts or whatever someone might want it for. Other than the low compression it looks to be in good shape. What's a fair asking price for it?

Not much I paid $100 for a 72 115 hp. Your best bet is to sell parts on ebay.
