I ran into a confusing problem...I recently did a carb & lower end rebuild on my 1989 hp mariner, and got everything running well. After a bit of running, it started to drop a cylinder. Now I only have spark on the top cylinder. I switched the coil wires back and forth, and the spark followed the lead, indicating that the coil was fine. NOTE: The spark occasionally comes back, indicating a possible ground issue. I cannot find the source of the ground problem though; anyone have any suggestions on what to test with my multi meter?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
