So I've had a rough idle for a few months, rebuild the carbs, fuel pump, trigger, cdm replaced, flushed tank, replaced cylinder number 3 reed valve comp 125psi through 3 cly. My question is what would cause a pop possible backfire?when this happens there is no fuel coming out of the carbs but instead coming through the fuel lines. I can feel the pressure build by holding the fuel line and at times will spit fuel through 3 way tee near the middle carb.? Also perhaps I rebuild the pump wrong? I will double check the fuel pump. Thanks.

Your timing could be off / Ignition not working properly, you should check your valve-reeds & fuel-pump now
Also check for good spark on all plugs & compression readings on all cylinders

Carburetors could be lean.------Open low speed mixture needles 1/4 turn and see what happens.-------Leans misfire is a much mis-understood concept on 2 stroke engines.
