I have my dad's 1957 Mercury Kiekhaefer Mark 30 outboard engine. It's mounted on a ~1964 Mirro Ski & Troll.
My dad was an engineer, and after he bought the motor and boat used in the late 60's, he kept both the boat and motor in very good condition. He's in a nursing home now, and I took possession of the boat and motor a couple of years ago.
The 1957 Merc is in good condition. I had it serviced and took it out for a spin last summer here in Tennessee. It's too much for me to keep up with, though, and I'd like to sell it--and probably the boat too. Any advice for how I should go about finding a buyer for both of these "collector's items"--particularly the 1957 Merc?
