A private seller is offering a Mercury Black Max propeller # 48-16438A45. I'm interested if it is compatible with my 2016 Mercury outboard 115 HP four stroke with Command Thrust. How can I determine if they are compatible?

Need info about Black Max 48-16438A45

I am considering buying this propeller from a distant private seller. Can anyone tell me if it comes with or without a hub? If without, what hub would I need to fit it to my 2016 Mercury outboard 115 HP four stroke with Command Thrust?

1. I hope you’re getting this prop for as close to free as possible. New retail aluminum props aren’t that expensive. Second hand should be dirt cheap. Like $50 for one in immaculate condition.
2. Looks like it uses the standard hub kit 835257q1(Quicksilver part.)

Ask the seller if he is including the hub. That's the beauty of props like these, you can change the prop and use the same hub. Maybe he changed to a different pitch or diameter and is using the original hub.

Quicksilver HUB ASSY.KIT MERC 835257Q1

Not sure if you need the below with a 19" pitch, but just in case.

Use Flo-Torq IV hub kit (#835257K10) to reduce clutch rattle on 90/115 HP Command Thrust (CT), 135-200 HP 4 cylinder Verado and 150 FourStroke. Clutch rattle may be present when using 18P or lower stainless steel propellers.

Update: It's new in the box and includes the hub for about $50 plus shipping. Pitch is 14.

14 in pitch is pretty low, What are you using it on, the boat?
