My motor and trim will not work, like there is a dead battery! Have a hot battery and good voltage readings on the motor. Any ideas?

Get a 12v test light. Connect the clamp on the test light directly to the stud on the battery. Touch the probe to the eye on the end of the opposite cable and have someone turn the key to start. The light should stay on. Do the same on the wire of the cable itself. Repeat on the other end of the cable, the wire, the eyelet and the stud. If the light goes out, that is were the problem is. Switch to the other battery stud and check the other cable.
