I don't use Merc's testing from manuals. I looked in my manuals and found them specs but read 2A-11( below) as 400rpm is cranking speed with plugs removed,1000 rpm is idle ad 3000 should only be done in water with load on prop. CDI's specs are at cranking speeds except when testing high speed miss.
