Was wanting some input on a good set of plug wires for my Mercrusier 454 thunderbolt ignition/carb. Should they be marine plugs? Brands and part numbers would be helpful.
Thanks for your input!

Use any of the top manufactures for plug wires so long as they fit. You can go to NAPA, Auotzone or here at iboats

So far as plugs use AC Delco MR43T, they are marine rated (will not rust)

and :welcome: back JD

JD - Gonna move this to the Mercruiser section. Sparky electrics are different for plugs than for radios and the like.

The wires on a Mercruiser need to be longer than a car/truck to get around the manifolds so you can't just get a set for an equivalent vehicle. They don't need to be marine but they have to be long enough.
