Got mercruiser 4 cylinder engine need this piece removed because its leaking water. Anyone know how I get it off. Its on top of motor its a square box which I took 4 nuts off the studs, at the back bottom part of the box is rubber boot. I've tried pb blaster, torch, pry bar box will not budge can't seem to figure it out.

sounds like he`s describing a exaust elbow, rap it with a 4x4 piece of wood to break the gasket loose.
