Belt issue 1988 7.4 454

Ok I have a 1988 7.4 454 thunder bolt set up. I was working on it this past weekend and i noticed the the belts looked crooked ''not inline with harmonic balance,crank etc ''. Is it possible they previous owner installed them improperly:facepalm:
It works ,but to me it should line up pretty dame close?

It works ,but to me it should line up pretty dame close?

is one side of the belt wearing faster than the other side? you can always put a straight edge on and see if the pulleys line up

When i get back down there ill take some pics....not sure the back side of belts are wearing .I dont think so there separate belts not serpentine ...no tentioner!
