Some how I missed putting the gasket on the lower drain plug (at the bottom of the drive) few weeks I go back to the boat and see a puddle of lube under the drive. I top off the resovwar, order the gasket/washer and about a week I install it. The resivovwar drained but was not empty (it was pretty empty before. I topped it off again.

My question is will it be fine? I took out the vent plug at the top and lube came out so there is lube up there. air bubbles if any will work their way up right? Ir should I drain it and fill it from the bottom up?

As is, you'll be fine. No need to drain and re-fill.
