So upon removal of the top cover on my alpha one gen 1, 2 bolts snapped inside the case. For the price of paying a machine shop to remove them I already ordered a re-man top unit.

I will reuse my lower unit as I already replaced the water pump and it has less than 5 hours on it.

What specific gaskets will I require for the lower end? I believe it was just the oil o-ring?

Also what gaskets will I need for the top to go back into the boat?

Thanks for your time as always :)

Ayuh,.... I use Sierra 18-2619-1, which is for the Gen.IIs, but works just Fine for All of the Alpha series drives, from the MC-1, through the Gen.IIs,...

This kit did not come with an O ring for the lower to upper oil passage?

Then reuse the existing quad ring (it's not an 'O' ring), if it's in good condition. If not, just buy a new one.
