I have 2 Mercruiser 120 complete engines bot run great on the ground, however last winter the engines mistakenly sat out in the garage and froze. Before I install one of them into the boat I would like to know if the block and or the manifold is cracked. Does anyone know where I can find a procedure on how to test the engine for cracks ? did not have any luck searching on the forum.

Thank you in advance

Ayuh,.... When were they last Run,..??

Hook 'em up, 'n Fire 'em up again,...
Any cracks should be obvious after a 15/ 20 minute yest run,...

The other way is to isolate the coolin' jackets, pressurize with air, 'n listen,...
