Leaking water

My mercruiser has a water leak. It's enough to turn on bilge. Only leaks when I'm not moving and it's coming in where the outboard rod is going out

Hi Brian, Welcome to iboats.

By outboard rod, do you mean drive shaft behind the motor? Can you provide a serial number for the engine and outdrive?
