Steering arm clamp nut size

Does anyone remember off the top of their head what size the clamp bolt nut is on the steering arm? Not the nut on the top but the through bolt that tightens the arm up on the square shift. Need the right wrench size for the bolt head and nut. Thanks.

The bolt is a 7/16", so the spanner will be either 5/8" or 11/16"...

Gotcha, I am going to try to hack a tool to tighten it without major disassembly or drilling holes in top of gimbal housing. Thanks.

Btw, this is on a 87 sea ray 4.3 with alpha one.
