I have an 89' omc(gm) 4.3 v6 w/ cobra outdrive. I noticed that all of my power steering fluid leaked out threw a rust hole in the assist cylinder behind the motor. The manual tries to "steer" you away from attempting to work on this. Is this something that I can replace myself ( I am somewhat mechanicly inclinded) or should I take it to a shop. Can the cylinder itself be replaced or is this one piece of a bigger fish?
